Canefield to be cruise village?

Canefield airport may be turned into a 'cruise village', despite being nowhere near a cruise ship berth. The announcement was made by Ports Minister Rayburn Blackmore at the launching of a new air service. He pointed out that the Government was losing money in the operation of the existing airport. The newly-launched Caricom Airways will connect Dominica and St Lucia starting Jan 2nd 2011.
